This study describes the position of Islamic literature among modern literature school of thoughts. The possibility of using the word mazhab is not popular among us because in producing literary works more often used as al-Itajah (tendency) or other terms other than mazhab. It is because mazhab is always associated with the field of fiqh or tawhid.
