Current global treatment for acute and chronic orthopaedic infection using non-biodegradable, antibiotic implant are costly and frequently disabling problem that severely affects the patient’s functional outcome and quality of life. Once infection is established, it requires multiple surgeries, prolonged antibiotic treatment, and long-term compli

Manganese promoted catalysts has been prepared at a fixed composition of Mo1V0.3Te0.23Nb0.125Mn≤nOx (n =0.0005, 0.005, 0.05 at %) by slurry method and has been tested in the selective oxidation of propane to acrylic acid. The modified catalyst shows higher acrylic acid yield 45%, 49% and 47% with respect to the different loading compared to bulk

Multiple-emulsion, solvent-evaporation method is employed to synthesise MICROSPHERiiUM. A biodegradable co-polymer, poly(L-lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA), is used as the matrix to form the microspheres. Briefly, an appropriate amount of PLGA is dissolved in dichloromethane to form the primary emulsion. This phase is then homogenised with on aqueou

The objective of this study is to find out qualitatively and quantitatively phytochemical constituents and antioxidant activities in the flower of Musa x paradisiaca extracts. The extracts from various solvents; petroleum ether, chloroform, ethanol and water were investigated for the presence of alkaloid, saponin, glycoside, tannin, flavanoid, terp
