A day with the orphans during the opening ceremony of Arabic Week programme. This programme was officiated by Dato' Dr. Hj. Zainul Ariff Bin Hj. Hussain, Secretary General, Ministry of National Unity and Social Development Malaysia.

The launching of Anti-drugs Campaign Program (PEKA 97') was officiated by Datuk Hj Idris Hj Ibrahim, Timbalan Yang Dipertua PEMADAM Kebangasaan on 3rd of May 1997 at Al-Malik Faisal Hall, IIUM Main Campus, Petaling Jaya.

Among the activities during the Taaruf Week include Special Session with Rector, Matriculation Center Ta'aruf week session 95/96 and dinner of new pre-medical students with the Rector.
