Rip currents are known as greatest beach hazard and coastal drowning incident to swimmer, bather and public. Due to lack of continuous report incident in this country make it difficult to get the exact number of rip current related drowning death and rescue occurring along coastal zone. This study examined fatalities and rescued due to rip current

A numerical simulation has been carried out to investigate the aerodynamics of an oscillating delta wing and to evaluate the flow structure over the leading edge at different low Reynolds numbers. The numerical results of the coefficient of lift (CL) vs angle of attack are validated with the experimental results from the previous study. Effects of

Electrografting of primary amine linkers is a widely used technique to covalently immobilize redox molecules or biomolecules at the electrode surface as it can produce a uniform and highly stable monolayers. Herein, we discussed the effects of having primary amine linkers with different carbon chain lengths as a medium to attach anthraquinone (AQ)

In this research, an attempt is made to characterise qualitatively the stability and dynamics of an inclined thin liquid film under the influence of instabilities due to thermo-capillarity and evaporative effects as well as van der Waals intermolecular forces, by employing the implicit finite difference method. The results are compared with solutio

Date palm (Pheonix dactylifera L.) has long been known for its medical benefits. In this review, the therapeutic properties of P. dactylifera are presented in light of the analysis of huge past reviews that reported the bioactivities of both flesh and seed of this fruit. The reported bioactivities of P. dactylifera included antioxidants, anti-cance

In this study, osmium catalysts (Os/Bentonite, Os/TiO2 ) and ruthenium catalysts (Ru/Bentonite, Ru/TiO2 ) with 5% wt/wt metal loading were prepared using impregnation method and applied to convert glycerol, a renewable feedstock, to value-added chemical, 1,2-propanediol. Among these catalysts, the bentonite supported Os catalyst showed high perform

The study sets out to make evident the existences of segmentation of the Islamic finance body of knowledge (BOK). The segmentation results from the combination of dependency of Islamic finance researchers on google and using Islamic finance terms (IFTs) as search keywords. The study defines Islamic finance terminology as the Arabic/Islamic terms un

Rapid urbanisation and the increase in population has led to massive use of underground spaces, especially in the city. Before an underground structure is built, the use of retaining structure is crucial in order to prevent the excavation from failure. Diaphragm wall is a widely used retaining structure, particularly for deep excavation. A holistic
