Low Power WAN (LPWAN) is a wireless broad area network technology. It is interconnects using only low bandwidth, less power consumption but at a long range. This new technology is operate in unauthorized spectrum [1] which designed for wireless data communication. In order to have an insight of such long range technology, this paper evaluates the p

The trend of global manufacturing competitiveness has shown a significant shift from profit and customer driven business to a more harmonious sustainability paradigm. This new direction, which emphasises the interests of three pillars of sustainability, i.e., social, economic and environment dimensions, has changed the ways products are designed. A

The instantaneous development of medical technology keeps on expanding every year. Numerous designs such as high precision robots imitating doctors' practical movement in performing surgery impress many people. This has vividly bold that the integration of engineering in designing technology for medical application gradually increases every yea

Smoking is the leading preventable cause of non-communicable disease mortality worldwide. Therefore, effort for the effective measure in smoking cessation is important. However, the central problem in the nicotine addiction treatment is relapse. A retrospective cohort study was done at Tanglin Quit Smoking Clinic to determine the outcome of smoking

This research aimed to identify the linguistic features of famous and less-famous children songs of Malay and English language. In addition, this research also focused on revealing whether Malay and English language shared the same linguistic features in the lyrics of the songs. A survey was administered to 50 respondents in order to find out the f

Abstract In the era of Internet technology, new applications are developed everyday requiring continuous and seamless connections. This urges for access availability solutions to the new scenarios. One of the critical architecture is the Mobile Ad-Hoc Network Mobility (MANEMO). However, the integration of Ad-hoc and NEMO technologies came out with

Electrochemical biosensors show great promise for point-of-care applications due to their low cost, portability and compatibility with microfluidics. The miniature size of these sensors provides advantages in terms of sensitivity, specificity and allows them to be mass produced in arrays. The most reliable fabrication technique for these sensors is

The endophyte-plant interactions have been the subject of many studies among researchers to understand their full potential especially those that can contribute in drugs development. However, studies conducted on endophytes residing in local medicinal plants are still scarce. Thus, this study attempted to assess the endophytic bacteria present in r

Schizophrenia is a devastating mental disorder that affects people’s normal life with heterogeneous features of its clinical presentation, as well as its molecular attribute. In order to identify the potential molecular aberration, particularly single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) which could be important in the aetiology of schizophrenia, polyme

Rapid development in technology and society has generated diverse developments in many fields including biosensors in healthcare application. Here, the design of integrated biosensor comprises mass sensing (Quartz Crystal Microbalance) and electrochemistry sensing (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy, EIS and Cyclic Voltammetry, CV) will be pres
