'Good Governance' ataupun yang diterjemahkan ke Bahasa Melayu sebagai tatakelola kerajaan yang baik, atau tadbir urus yang baik merupakan satu konsep yang amat popular dewasa ini. Malangnya, konsep 'Good Governance' di kebanyakan negara-negara Islam amat kabur. Persoalannya, apakah sikap Islam terhadap konsep tersebut? Bagaimana pul

In this invention, lightweight composite brake rotor is fabricated using a stir casting method in order to investigate the performance stability in terms of temperature rise and hot spot generation on the brake rotor surface and comparison of actual braking test and simulation result. A mathematical model is also developed to predict the influence

Skyline query has been studied extensively and a significant number of skyline algorithms have been proposed, mostly attempt to resolve the optimisation problem that is mainly associated with reduction in the processing time of skyline computations. While databases change their states and/or structures throughout their lifetime to reflect the curre

The main aim of this study is to develop light weight, eco-friendly and cheaper kenaf-glass (KG) fibers reinforced unsaturated polyester hybrid composite on a source of green composite using sheet molding compound process. Unsaturated polyester resin (UPE) and KG fibers in mat form were used at a ratio of 70:30 (by volume) with treated and untreate

In the present study, a surface layer of TiC-CNT hybrid compositecoating has been developed on low alloy steel (LAS) by using powder preplacement and tungsten inert gas (TIG) torch melting techniques. The weighed powder mixture with the content of 1.0 mg per millimeter square area and containing TiC- 4wt. % CNT particles was preplaced on LAS surface

In this invention, high performance multiple particle size silicon carbide reinforced aluminium composite brake rotor has been fabricated using a stir casting method in order to investigate the performance stability in terms of weight reduction, energy saving, lower temperature generation and less hot spot formation on the brake rotor surface. A ma

Purpose - The aim of this paper is to study the tribological behaviour of Fe-C-Al cast iron at different temperatures using universal pin-on-disk machine. Design/methodology/approach - The cold set resin bonded sand mould casting process was employed to develop Fe-C-Al cast iron and Fe-C-Si cast iron. The microstructures of materials were studied u

Research works are being done to substitute heavy material with a suitable lighter weight and cheaper material which has better properties for this particular application. Processing route plays a significant role in developing the material for any application with effective cost and environmental factors and careful selection of processing route i

This study attempts an exposition of different perceptions of medical treatment that have emerged from the Islamic theological understanding and, at the level of appreciation, the way these perceptions contribute to diversity of views and flexible space in clinical practice. Particularly, the researcher attempts to formulate an Islamic perspective
