Among the activities during the Taaruf Week include Special Session with Rector, Matriculation Center Ta'aruf week session 95/96 and dinner of new pre-medical students with the Rector.
The visit which was attended by the Minister of Education, Republic of Maldives, H.E Dr. Mohammad Latheef was entertained by the IIUM Rector, Prof Abd Hamid Abusulayman.
Cheque presentation from 'Tabung Bantuan Bakti' was presented by Y. A. Bhg. Datin Seri Dr. Siti Hasmah bt. Mohd. Ali, Yang Dipertua BAKTI on 13 March 1998.
