Muhammad Syafik Bin Ab Rahman obtained his Bachelor's degree from UiTM Shah Alam, in Bahasa Melayu Studies. He completed his studies in Applied Language Studies - Bahasa Melayu for Professional Communication. After graduating in May 2013, he pursued a career in teaching and has taught Bahasa Melayu for almost two years.

Kulwant holds a Master's degree in English as a Second Language (MESL). She is currently pursuing her Ph.D at the National University of Malaysia (UKM). She joined IIUM in 2007 as a CELPAD lecturer. For the past eight years, Kulwant has held several positions i.e. Assistant Coordinator of Level 5 and Testing and Measurement Unit Representative
